A current account is a type of deposit account that is opened due to the contract written between the bank and the client. The bank allows for cash withdrawal, transfer of funds and checks being written against the balance of the account.

Features:
Real and corporate bodies can open the account
Having reached the full age of 18
Current accounts are not entitled to any interest distribution
Issuing Melli Card  and a checkbook for the current account holder

Documents required by real persons:
Filled-out application and related forms
Original passport issued abroad
Original residence permit card for at least one year
Iran work permit
Having a reference letter from one of the governmental organizations, foreign embassies and consulates or amongst the bank’s credible clients identifying and confirming the identity of the client

Documents required by corporate bodies:
The written request of the company for opening current account along with the authorized signatures of the company
The original and certified copy of ID cards/passports and valid residence permit card of company managers
The original and a certified copy of articles of association
The original and a certified copy of memorandum of association
Notice of the company formation in an official gazette of Islamic Republic of Iran
The latest minute of General Assembly showing the acknowledgement of members of Board of Directors and signatories
Having a reference letter from one of the governmental organizations, foreign embassies and consulates or amongst the bank’s credible clients identifying and confirming the identity of the client
The authorization or a permit from Iran's Central Bank
Certification of signatures by one domestic bank
